Responsibilities Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including hearings, mediations, trials, and case preparation Draft pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail Manage litigation deadlines, court calendars, scheduling, and case organization Prepare hearing notebooks, exhibits, trial binders, and supporting documentation Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third parties in a professional and timely manner Assist with discovery management, document collection, and file organization Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to help cases progress efficiently and effectively Maintain accurate billing entries and case management documentation Qualifications Previous litigation paralegal experience required Family law experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of litigation procedures and court processes Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new systems and legal technology platforms Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-focused environment Professional, proactive, and client-service oriented mindset Compensation and Benefits Compensation: $55,000+ per year Paid time off Health benefits Retirement plan options Professional development opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment Modern technology and systems Location This is an in-office position based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
