Surestaff is immediately hiring an Order Entry Specialist for a client in Aurora, IL. An Order Entry Specialist is responsible for data entry, order verification, cross-functional communication, and documentation. Surestaff is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($20.00+/HR.) depending on experience, as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

1. 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm)

Job Responsibilities of the Order Entry Specialist

Data Entry: Accurately input customer orders, updates, and cancellations into the company system with speed and precision.
Order Verification: Review orders for completeness, verifying pricing, part numbers, and product availability before processing.
Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborate with warehouse teams to track order statuses and resolve any discrepancies or backorders.
Documentation: Maintain organized digital and physical records, generate invoices, and support administrative tasks.

Required Qualifications of the Order Entry Specialist

Strong data entry skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or CRM software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly valued.
Meticulous eye for numbers and specifications to prevent costly fulfillment errors.
Excellent verbal and written communication to interact professionally with clients and internal departments.
Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
