Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$2080.80/week -

Job Summary:

Provides direct patient care to individuals in the emergency room setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective patient treatment while educating patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Apply the nursing process to deliver high-quality emergency care in accordance with Oregon State Board of Nursing guidelines.
  
  
• 
  Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and significant others regarding treatment procedures, medication, and post-discharge care instructions.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with certification and licensure requirements, including maintaining current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
  
  
• 
  Maintain readiness for rapid response situations and adapt to high-pressure emergency environments.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an Oregon Registered Nurse license or be willing to obtain one.
  
  
• 
  Recent (within the past 2 years) acute care hospital experience, specifically in emergency room settings.
  
  
• 
  Possess current certifications in BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC, or willingness to obtain them.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
  
  
• 
  Show proficiency in documentation and interdisciplinary communication.
