DENTAL HYGIENIST

Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Growth opportunities Safe work environment Our team is seeking a part-time OR a full-time Dental Hygienist for our Houston, MO clinic . This position offers an option of either 3 or 4 day work weeks! (Days will be clinic specific) This person will help support our team by performing a wide range of dental procedures and administrative duties. We are looking for a motivated, results-driven professional with strong interpersonal skills who can think independently and act quickly and decisively when necessary. Candidates must possess current licensure, a strong knowledge of local dental procedures and the ability to meet strict hygiene standards. The part‑time position will not be eligible for benefits. Responsibilities Assist in the oral health management of all clinic patients. Record patient-hygienist transactions as they occur in the patient's dental record so that the dental record accurately and completely reflects the nature of the contact, the condition of the patient and the care or treatment provided. Provides oral health education and appropriate individual counseling for all center dental patients. Have knowledge of a wide variety of dental procedures. Performs independent procedures as delegated and directed by a dentist in accordance with state regulations and law as well as Dental Department protocol and directive. Assists with various clinical and administrative functions of the center as appropriate and time permits. Travels when necessary to meet operational needs. Potential employees will receive and must pass a drug/alcohol screening before employment can begin. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of dental hygiene. Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with fellow healthcare providers. Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills required. Unrestricted license to practice Oral Hygiene in the State of Missouri.
