Data Specialist

Job OpportunityThe Data Specialist plays a key role in supporting vendor management, tax and IRS/1099 administration, Master Data Management (MDM), and business process automation initiatives across the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring vendor compliance, managing MDM-related activities, and providing exceptional customer support through regular interaction with internal and external stakeholders. Data Specialists contribute to innovative, customer-focused solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive business productivity.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Collaborate with business partners and cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and effective customer solutions and services.Contribute ideas and recommendations as an active member of a collaborative team environment.Assist in the creation, maintenance, and administration of the corporate repository for vendor tax and IRS documentation.Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly vendor compliance activities to ensure data accuracy and regulatory adherence.Support Master Data Management (MDM) operations and data governance processes.Participate in departmental and enterprise-wide projects as assigned.Maintain positive and professional relationships with customers and stakeholders.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Working knowledge of Microsoft-based applications, platforms, technologies, and tools.Understanding of database integration concepts and basic SQL Server query language.Proficient project management and organizational skills.Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service communication skills.Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and technology platforms.RequirementsEducation and Experience:Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a mid-sized to large organization with 100+ employees.Demonstrated experience working in customer-facing or stakeholder-focused roles, with the ability to effectively communicate business objectives, context, and solutions to diverse audiences.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across departments and organizational levels.Proven ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and actionable communications.Experience balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
