Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience and current ARRT certification for a day shift assignment at a Level III trauma teaching hospital.

Details

• Interventional Radiology department within a short-term acute care hospital
• Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital with 733 staffed beds
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Days, weekends, and call required
• Candidate may float within the hospital or sister campus depending on booking needs
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
• ARRT registration required
• ACLS certification required prior to start
• Must pass an EKG exam as part of compliance
• State or compact licensure required (pending license not accepted); license required if applicable
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrubs provided
• First-time travelers accepted
• Not open to local candidates within a 50-mile radius of the main campus
• Returning travelers must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning to this facility
• Facility has a 2 contract limit for day shift assignments; travelers must wait 6 months before reapplying after reaching the extension limit
• RTO is subject to manager's discretion, with a maximum of 4 days and only 1 holiday approved
• All callouts for scheduled shifts must be made up as deemed necessary by the department
