Working under the direction of an RN, provider, or other licensed clinician, the LPN supports clinical operations across a busy internal medicine practice with dermatology exposure.This role requires a detail‑oriented, reliable nurse who can triage effectively, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing demands throughout the day. You’ll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal health outcomes, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and ensure exceptional patient experiences.How will you make an impact & RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care under RN or provider supervision within state nursing scopeObtain and document vital signs, height, weight, and medical history in the EHRAdminister medications, injections, and immunizations following safety protocolsPerform basic wound care, specimen collection, and point‑of‑care testing (glucose, urinalysis, pregnancy tests)Assist with diagnostic procedures and examinations; prepare and position patientsSupport providers during procedures, maintaining sterile technique and preparing instrumentsMonitor patients for changes in condition and report findings promptlyReinforce patient education on medications, treatments, and lifestyle instructionsPrepare exam rooms, manage room turnover, and restock suppliesSchedule appointments, follow‑ups, and diagnostic testsCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teamsParticipate in outreach activities (follow‑up calls, medication refills, preventive reminders)Maintain accurate and timely EHR documentationEnsure infection prevention, equipment maintenance, and safety standards are followedUphold HIPAA, OSHA, Joint Commission, and state/federal regulationsParticipate in training, continuing education, and competency assessmentsSupport quality improvement and patient safety initiativesDemonstrate excellent guest service to patients and internal team membersPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsActive Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license2–3+ years of experience in a healthcare settingBLS certification requiredExperience in internal medicine; dermatology experience preferredStrong skills in injections, vitals, wound care, and triageAbility to multitask, prioritize, and remain flexible with daily demandsDetail‑oriented, reliable, and committed to patient‑centered careExcellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skillsFamiliarity with EHR systems and clinical documentation workflowsBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision401(k)PTOPaid HolidaysCompensation Range:$24.20to$36.30The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting.
