Most freight is no-touch, allowing drivers to focus on driving rather than loading or unloading. Drop-and-hook loads are common, with some scheduled live loads depending on the customer.Repeat freight patterns and established customer locations provide consistent lane coverage. The regional setup allows drivers to build productive miles during the week without requiring extended periods away from home.Drivers return home each week for a reset. The schedule is structured around regional freight demand, with dispatch coordinating loads to support both weekly mileage and regular home time. Drivers should expect to stay out during the workweek before returning home for their scheduled reset.CDL A Truck Drivers operate newer sleeper tractors with automatic transmissions and modern safety systems. Trucks are maintained on a regular preventative maintenance schedule. The fleet includes dry van and refrigerated trailers maintained for regional operations.Average weekly earnings range from $1,350 to $1,750 depending on miles, experience, and freight activity. Drivers are paid weekly through direct deposit, with detention pay available when applicable.Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, retirement plan options, paid time off, and a rider policy after eligibility requirements are met.A valid Class A CDL and recent tractor-trailer experience are required.
