Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity
OVP Health is actively seeking a qualified Emergency Medicine Physician to float throughout the Holzer Health System. The system consists of three ED's in southeastern Ohio.
Locations include:
- Holzer Medical Center- Gallipolis, OH 12 bed (20k annual volume)
- Holzer Medical Center Jackson- Jackson, OH 11 bed (20k annual volume)
- Holzer Meigs Emergency Department- Pomeroy, OH 8 bed (11k annual volume)
EM or Family trained with EM experience are welcome to apply. All three locations are approximately 30-40 minutes apart. Independent contracts (1099) or full-time employment (W2) with benefits are available. 10 shifts/month for benefits. Additional shifts available.
The organization offers:
- Physician-led organization
- 24 hours/day of physician coverage (12-hour shifts)
- 14 hours of APP coverage (10a-12a) Meigs is 12 hours of APP coverage (12p-12a)
- Paragon EMR
- Full-time employee (FTE) or independent contractor (IC)
- Competitive rates that will include a nocturnist rate for all shifts worked.

OVP's physicians and affiliated providers practice in hospitals and other inpatient facilities. The current opportunities are provided by OVP and contracted by hospital systems throughout WV, KY, and OH.
