We are seeking a Carpet Cleaning Technician Trainee to join our small, dedicated team specializing in carpet, air duct, dryer vent, upholstery, tile & grout, and hardwood floor cleaning. This role offers hands-on experience with chemical cleaning agents and advanced equipment, emphasizing safety and teamwork. Local travel is required, and there are clear opportunities for advancement into technical specialist and supervisory positions within the company.
Responsibilities
- Perform carpet, air duct, dryer vent, upholstery, tile & grout, and hardwood floor cleaning
- Assist with tile grout coloring and hardwood floor sealing
- Operate and maintain chemical cleaning agents and multi-purpose cleaning equipment
- Manage supplies and furnish tools and materials to team members
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment following safety compliance standards
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on equipment
- Track and document equipment and supply usage
- Collaborate effectively within a small team of 2-5 people
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in carpet cleaning, maintenance, or related fields (will train right candidates with no experience)
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and tools
- Ability to handle physical workload and lift 75+ pounds
- Strong team collaboration skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in carpet cleaning
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of safety compliance practices
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent team collaboration abilities
