Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a PACU position requiring an active HI RN license, PALS certification, and at least 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience.

Details

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital setting
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 36 scheduled hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license in Hawaii (HI) required, active at time of consideration
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS, all active at time of consideration
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years
• BSN or related nursing degree preferred
• Procedural Sedation Competency preferred
• 2+ years of critical care experience with adult patients preferred, ideally in PACU
• 2+ years of clinical experience with pediatric patients preferred, ideally in ER, ICU, or PACU
• 2+ years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in an outpatient setting preferred
• 2+ years of experience with Pain Management injection procedures preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to adult and pediatric patients
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Contingent workers may not exceed two years of total assignment time without a 90-day break
