Job Details Department: 39028 Carolinas Medical Center - LC: Hem/Onc: BMT: Morehead Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule Details: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm with option for 4‑10 hour days after orientation Pay Range: $35.50 – $53.25 Sign‑on Bonus Eligible: Yes Location: Atrium Health Levine Cancer Hematology/Oncology, Morehead, NC Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. BSN required. RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program upon hire/transfer date and complete it within 3 years. Oncology and triage experience Responsibilities The RN Transplant is a professional registered nurse and a designated member of the transplant team who provides comprehensive nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies, procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. The RN works with patients and their families beginning with the evaluation and will continue through the transplant process. Position Summary The Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse, a member of Advocate Health Nursing Professional Governance community, provides high‑quality, patient‑centered care through evidence‑based practice, clinical expertise, and compassionate delivery in an ambulatory setting. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, advocates for patient needs, and upholds professional practice standards to promote optimal health outcomes.
