Job Description & Requirements Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist for a position in San Antonio, Texas. Job Details Specialty: Cardiovascular Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: Ongoing, 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Staff Salary: Up to $25,000, sign‑on bonus based on experience Responsibilities The CV Tech performs hemodynamic monitoring procedures of a highly specialized nature and assists the physician during all procedures. Works with patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. Trains cardiovascular technicians and other Cath Lab personnel. Completes established competencies for the position within a designated introductory period. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Education and Qualifications Minimum Education: Graduate of a certificate or degree‑granting program or post‑secondary educational program in health science, or equivalent education. Experience Minimum Experience: 2 years of interventional Cath Lab OR 2 years of electrophysiology experience. Preferred Experience: NAR (National Association of Radiologic Technologists). Certificates and Licensure Required: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES). Preferred: Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT). Required Courses / Completions Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support upon hire (ARC or AHA). AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire. AHA ACLS within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.
