This is a leadership role for someone who loves creating memorable experiences, building relationships, and helping residents stay active, connected, and involved. The Director of Lifestyles will oversee programming across the community while leading the Lifestyles team and helping make Longleaf Liberty Park a vibrant place to call home. Salary: $65,000-$68,000 annually What You Will Do Plan, develop, promote, implement, and evaluate engaging programs that support the physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual well-being of our residents. Create a diverse monthly calendar of activities, events, outings, entertainment, educational opportunities, and social programs. Develop programming that reflects resident interests, abilities, preferences, and different levels of care within the community. Build strong relationships with residents and actively seek their feedback and ideas for future programming. Plan and coordinate special events, celebrations, holiday programming, and community-wide activities. Develop, post, and maintain the monthly activities calendar and provide a timely and informative resident newsletter. Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate Lifestyles team members. Recruit and coordinate volunteers and community partners to enhance resident programming. Develop and manage the departmental budget, forecasts, staffing plans, and program expenses. Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, professional standards, and community policies and procedures. Oversee resident transportation services for activities, outings, appointments, and community needs. Coordinate the maintenance and cleanliness of community-owned vehicles to ensure safe and dependable transportation. Collaborate with other department leaders to support resident satisfaction, community events, and overall resident experience. Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director. Supervisory Responsibilities The Director of Lifestyles reports directly to the Executive Director and is expected to independently lead the department, supervise assigned team members, manage programming and scheduling, and exercise sound judgment in day-to-day operations. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; additional education in recreation, hospitality, senior living, healthcare, or a related field is a plus. At least three years of professional experience , preferably in senior living, activities, recreation, hospitality, event planning, or a similar environment. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong organizational and event-planning skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and priorities. A creative, energetic, and resident-focused approach to programming. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with residents, families, team members, volunteers, and community partners. Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed to support special events, holidays, evenings, and weekend programming. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted. Why Join Longleaf Liberty Park?
