Travel RN Job Details Specialty: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) Location: Cleveland, Ohio 44195 Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract Start Date: November 13, 2026 End Date: February 12, 2027 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800–$1,890 Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour day shifts Shift Hours: 11:00 a.m.–11:30 p.m. Hours: 36 hours per week Orientation: 16 hours Holiday Requirement: Travelers must work at least every other holiday during the assignment. Emergency Department RN Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license with a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of submission At least 1 year of combined permanent experience as an Emergency Department RN Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications in hand at the time of submission TNCC certification preferred At least one recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty; the reference must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation and achieve an acceptable score Willingness to complete required facility orientation, competency activities, background screening, and pre-start learning modules Strong communication, clinical judgment, teamwork, and adaptability in a high-acuity emergency department setting Emergency Nursing Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to emergency department patients Perform focused assessments, identify changes in patient condition, and prioritize care according to acuity Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses and maintaining accurate documentation Recognize and respond promptly to urgent and emergent clinical situations Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, ancillary teams, patients, and families to coordinate care Support patient flow, discharge education, care transitions, and compliance with emergency nursing standards Maintain current certifications, complete required competencies, and contribute to a safe and professional care environment Apply now for this Emergency Department RN travel contract in Cleveland, Ohio, and join a dedicated healthcare team.
