As a Security Officer Unarmed - Overnights in Goodyear, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support a professional environment through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork, while bringing our values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions appropriate for a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor the movement of visitors, deliveries, and outbound shipments in accordance with post instructions, helping to support orderly operations across the location.
• Assist with reporting, note-taking, and communication related to alarms, disturbances, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues observed during patrol activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
