Employee Health Registered Nurse

Overview Employee Health Registered Nurse (RN) needed for a temporary, full‑time contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Santa Monica, CA. The position starts ASAP and is ongoing until further notice, with an anticipated minimum of one month. Shift: Monday‑Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. Responsibilities Conduct new hire health screenings. Collect and update medical records. Provide health promotion and wellness information. Follow up on post‑exposure, communicable disease and blood‑borne pathogen issues. Perform medical testing such as EKGs, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening, and provide limited interpretation of tests. Conduct TB testing. Perform Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) and Respirator Fit Testing (RFT). Maintain employee health records for the entire facility. Answer phones and assist with questions. Administer vaccinations. Qualifications Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California. Minimum three years’ experience as a nurse. Previous experience in at least one of the following settings: Occupational/Employee Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, School Nursing, Corrections, or Family Medicine. Recent clinical experience, tech savvy, and a reliable work ethic. BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Computer savviness, including prior EMR use. Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player. Immunization/titer records for MMR, Varicella, and Hep B series. TB (PPD) test within the last 90 days or QuantiFERON‑Gold within the last year.
