Duration: Temp - 3 months

Pay Range: $22/hr (W2)

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

 

Job Description

We are seeking a WMHS Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in transportation dispatch, logistics coordination, routing, and customer service and a proven ability to manage daily routes, resolve driver issues, and deliver timely responses to customer inquiries .

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries including pick-ups, schedules, and product orders.
• Dispatch vehicles on pre-set daily routes to ensure efficient customer service.
• Assist Customer Service with requests and SFDC cases, including route changes and rescheduling for pickups or missed stops.
• Provide a high level of customer service consistent with Customer 1st objectives.
• Monitor, process, and escalate SFDC cases to supervisors as needed.
• Support walk-in customers with timely assistance.
• Assist drivers with issues during routes and at end of day.
• Review, organize, and file driver paperwork.
• Review and update routes and new customers based on daily communications, and reroute existing customers as required.
• Balance routes daily to optimize coverage and efficiency.
• Assist the Transportation Supervisor or Manager as directed.
• Update SAP data and maintain accurate notes.
• Communicate performance standards and objectives to team members.
• Keep staff informed of problems, changes, and developments through professional and organized meetings.
• Maintain a safe and compliant workplace at all times.
• In the absence of a supervisor, monitor work to ensure safe and productive operations and recommend improvements when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, routing, or customer service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and internal teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SFDC case management.
• Experience updating data and notes in SAP.
