Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

A high-growth energy technology company is seeking a FP&A Manager will support financial planning and analysis, partnering with senior leadership on strategic decision-making across multiple business divisions. This role will focus on forecasting, budgeting, cash flow modeling, capital efficiency, management reporting, and scalable FP&A

processes.

Duration : Direct Hire

Location: On site 2x/week, Bay Area, CA

Key Responsibilities

Support revenue forecasting, budgeting, cash flow modeling, multi-year planning, BVA analysis, headcount planning, dashboard creation, KPI frameworks, scenario modeling, and management reporting. The role will also help improve FP&A systems, automation, controls, and processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required; CPA preferred. Requires 3–5 years of FP&A experience, advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills, startup experience, GAAP knowledge, and experience with automation or AI in finance processes. Experience with planning software, ERP systems, equity platforms, or the energy/commodity markets is a plus.
