Description: Looking for candidates with acute rehab experience and Cerner EMR experience. Full-time days with a consistent block schedule: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The facility is a state-of-the-art, 66-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. It is dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced debilitating effects of severe injury or illness. Rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. Customized, intense rehabilitation is tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The Stroke Specialty Program is recognized for excellence in service and accredited for comprehensive integrated inpatient rehabilitation, brain injury, and spinal cord injury specialty programs. Common patient population includes geriatric and neuro patients. Patient ratios are 7:1. Equipment used includes Cerner for electronic health records. All nurses are expected to have a degree in nursing (LVN, ADN, BSN or higher). First day instructions include reporting time and scrub color. Who to ask for upon arrival is the charge nurse. No call requirements are expected for this position.
