The work schedule typically spans Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patients’ needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate psychological well-being and determine appropriate diagnostic criteria and treatment pathways.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with patients' specific needs, ensuring the application of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Utilize multiple therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Engage in active collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to formulate cohesive treatment strategies.

• Provide crisis intervention support for clients facing mental health emergencies, utilizing effective de-escalation techniques and a compassionate approach.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health topics, treatment options, and available community resources to empower their healing journeys.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient case management.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and stay up-to-date with industry advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds, each with unique mental health challenges ranging from anxiety and mood disorders to complex trauma histories. As a key practitioner in our telehealth practice, you will help individuals navigate their emotional difficulties and coping mechanisms, promoting resilience and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) in the state of Kansas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience as a mental health therapist, demonstrating competence in conducting assessments and therapy.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and the principles of trauma-informed care are essential.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport and foster therapeutic relationships with diverse client populations.

• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient care effectively.
