Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit night shift position requiring PCU experience and CO or compact RN licensure.

Details

• 5th Floor Medical PCU with 45 beds and approximately 90 staff
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge RN, 9-10 RNs, and 4-5 MSTs
• Patient ratios of 4-5 for both day and night shifts
• Unit equipment includes lifts, dynamap, and cardiac monitoring equipment
• EMR system is Meditech
• Performs cardiac drips and cardiac catheter care
• Manages chest tubes, wound care, and TPN/lipids
• 13-week assignment with 7P-7A shift schedule
• Self-scheduling available as allowed by the unit

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Cardiac and ICU experience preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

• Unit features new lift equipment and mobile technology
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
