Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule Details:

• 12-hour day shifts: 0700–1900 (36-hour work week)
• 3–4 weeknight on-call shifts per 6-week schedule (7p–7a)
• 1–2 weekend on-call shifts per 6-week schedule (Sat or Sun, 7a–7p or 7p–7a)
• No standard weekend rotation—call only
• Holiday coverage occurs on a rotating call schedule
• Floating to other units is not required

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist
• Demonstrated nursing expertise in the ORT specialty
• Recent operating room or perioperative experience
• Proven track record of providing direct support to surgical teams
• Solid understanding of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and pre/post-operative processes
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields
• Assist surgeons and OR staff during procedures
• Ensure accurate instrument, sponge, and equipment counts
• Anticipate surgical team needs and proactively address challenges
• Help maintain a safe surgical environment, adhering to all infection control protocols
• Respond promptly to call-backs for emergent surgical needs
• Participate in on-call rotations, including holidays as scheduled

$1,573 - $1,664/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
