Job Overview

\n

The Floor Ready Colleague is responsible for checking all receipts entering the building for vendor noncompliance.  Perform other duties as needed.

\n

Essential Functions

\n

\n
• Provide an exceptional customer shopping experience by ensuring both the in store and online customer are always the #1 priority
\n
• Service the customer in a helpful and friendly manner including POS transactions, loyalty enrollment, and helping them to find what they are looking for
\n
• Collaborate with Managers, Leads and Colleagues throughout the store to deliver a clean, neat and easy-to-shop store environment; maintain sales floor and fitting room recovery standards
\n
• Support Omni Channel initiatives and be open to learning new technology
\n
• Maintain a working knowledge of the Floor Ready Best Practice
\n
• Review vendor boxes for non-compliance issues; submit charges accordingly using the MC9090 RF Handheld
\n
• Perform floor audits on merchandise that was not opened or may have been missed on the receiving dock
\n
• Take photos and communicate any issues outside the scope of the designated audits via phone, email to the Store Operations Analyst and review on weekly team conference calls.
\n
• Understand receiving and processing team functions to better communicate vendor issues that need to be addressed; partner with the processing team to resolve audit findings
\n
• Communicate with OVM or CSX on any merchandise or system issues
\n
• Adhere to Asset Protection and inventory control and compliance procedures
\n
• Ensure that shortage prevention initiatives are executed
\n
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
\n

Qualifications and Competencies

• No Education or Experience Required
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
\n
• Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities 
\n
• Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
\n
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
\n

Essential Physical Requirements You Will Perform

\n

\n
• This position requires lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.\n
  \n
  • Involves standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 50lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
  \n
  • Reaching, including above eye level, crouching, kneeling, and stooping
  \n
  • Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  \n

• Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
