• Number of Beds - 52
• Number of Staff – 134
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – 1 charge, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician and 1 midlevel per pod
  • Night Shift - 1 charge, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician and 1 midlevel per pod
• Patient Ratios – 3:1 average, low acuity 5:1, Peds= team nursing
• Type of equipment - Alaris
• EMR - Meditech /CPN

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC and NIH
• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital ED experience

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• ENPC
• Meditech experience
• Experience in traveling to large facility/areas

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• IV starts, medication administration, sedations, pediatrics
• Good grasp on patient experience

Best personality Fit:

• Able to keep up with our fast pace ER
• Diverse and able to learn quickly, we are a young crowd and assume you can handle your own

Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

• Expectation is you scan your patients' medication's every time
