Senior Project Manager Mission Critical Construction | Data Centers We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager on behalf of one of our clients. This individual will play a critical leadership role overseeing large-scale mission‑critical construction projects while ensuring exceptional project execution, financial performance, and client satisfaction. Senior Project Manager: The Senior Project Manager serves as the primary leader responsible for the successful execution of multiple construction projects from initiation through closeout. Position Details Exempt, Salaried Position (Compensation based on experience) Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Additional evening/weekend work as project demands require Location: Onsite daily in Bowling Green, Ohio Travel: Up to 15% Key Responsibilities Safety Leadership Champion a culture of safety across all project activities. Ensure compliance with all company safety programs and client site requirements. Promote proactive safety planning and accident prevention. Project Leadership Lead and mentor assigned Project Management team members. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget objectives. Develop project execution strategies and oversee implementation. Identify project risks and implement corrective action plans. Lead by example while fostering accountability and collaboration. Project Execution Ensure all project deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule. Oversee installation strategies utilizing industry best practices. Monitor project milestones, schedules, and overall performance. Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure successful project delivery. Review project progress and implement recovery plans when necessary. Financial Management Maintain accountability for project profitability. Monitor budgets, forecasting, labor, equipment, and material costs. Prepare and present financial reports and project performance metrics. Identify and manage change orders and cost impacts. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Client & Stakeholder Management Develop strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Provide regular project updates and executive‑level reporting. Support estimating efforts, constructability reviews, and value engineering initiatives. Maintain a customer‑first approach throughout project delivery. Operational Excellence Support Lean Construction initiatives and continuous improvement. Utilize construction technology platforms to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost control. Assist in developing standard operating procedures and best practices. Encourage innovation and process improvements across project teams. Team Development Mentor project staff and future leaders. Support employee training and professional development. Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. Qualifications Required Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience considered). Minimum of 8 years of progressive construction management experience. Demonstrated success managing large-scale structured cabling, technology infrastructure, or mission‑critical construction projects. Experience leading multi‑million‑dollar commercial construction projects. Strong financial management and project forecasting experience. Experience managing project schedules and construction teams of 60+ field personnel. Strong knowledge of construction contracts and multiple project delivery methods including: Lump Sum / Fixed Price Cost Plus Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Unit Price Design‑Build Time & Material Technical Knowledge Strong working knowledge of: Primavera P6 Project scheduling Cost forecasting Schedule Performance Index (SPI) Cost Performance Index (CPI) PMBOK principles Microsoft Office Suite Bluebeam Procore Textura Construction management software platforms Preferred Experience Experience supporting: Hyperscale Data Centers Mission Critical Facilities Structured Cabling Infrastructure Technology Construction Large Commercial Construction New Build and Retrofit Data Center Projects Experience managing: Structured Cabling Installations Mission Critical Infrastructure Multi‑disciplinary construction teams Large subcontractor workforces Preferred Certifications OSHA 30‑Hour Certification (required within six months if not currently held) BICSI RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) BICSI RTPM (Registered Telecommunications Project Manager) PMP (Project Management Professional) Leadership Competencies Strategic decision‑making Advanced leadership abilities Financial and business acumen Strong communication and presentation skills Client relationship management Conflict resolution Team development and coaching Organizational excellence Attention to detail Adaptability in fast‑paced environments Supervisory Responsibilities This position includes direct supervisory responsibility for project management personnel and field leadership.
