Millennium Power Services is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Machinist to join our team in Prince George, Virginia. As a Machinist, you will play a key role in our production process, utilizing your expertise to fabricate precision parts using manual machining techniques. This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about precision machining.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up and operating CNC and manual machines
• Blueprint interpretation
• Tool selection and maintenance
• Quality control
• Collaboration and communication
• Safety and maintenance
• Problem-solving
• Record-keeping

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience strongly preferred
• Proven experience as a Machinist with a strong understanding of CNC and manual machining processes
• Skilled in setting up and operating CNC and manual machining equipment
• Strong understanding of precision measuring instruments
• Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and machining accessories
• Strong math skills, including geometry
• Knowledge of various metal properties and machinability
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical education or certification is a plus

Position Details:

• Regular hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
• Overtime and weekend hours available and required as needed
