The role is based onsite at a modern school facility in Edison, NJ, providing a unique opportunity to engage with young patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to diagnose various mental health disorders, employing advanced assessment skills and clinical judgment.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on the specific needs of each patient, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, closely monitoring patient responses and adjusting dosages as needed to optimize effectiveness and minimize side effects.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services using diverse therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Collaborate with other mental health team members to coordinate and enhance patient care, ensuring comprehensive service delivery.
• Offer education and supportive resources to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
• Regularly document patient progress, maintaining accurate records of treatment outcomes, medication efficacy, and any changes in symptoms.
• Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments, assessing treatment effectiveness and making necessary adjustments to care plans as required.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings and supervision sessions aimed at fostering knowledge sharing and improving patient care methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on adolescents and young adults facing a myriad of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and mood disorders. Understanding the unique stressors faced by this demographic is crucial, as you will provide them with the tools and strategies needed for effective coping and resilience. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, with specialized training in psychiatric mental health. Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 200,000 to 250,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
