Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 3 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >90 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - Baystate Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - 1 year in a Level 1 ICU preferred; otherwise 2 years of preferred experience in a MICU setting. - Candidates with only 1 year of experience as a new grad may be considered too new for this unit.

Required Credentials: - ICU competency exam required.

Unit Details: - Medical intensive care and neuro critical care patients. - Ratios 1:2 or 1:1 if acuity requires 1:1. - Cases include sepsis, ESRD and AKI requiring CRRT/CVVH, post-cardiac arrest care, and respiratory failure.

Shift & Scheduling: - Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - Will float to Medical HVCC, SICU, and IMC.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 12 months
