Your Impact at GEICO

As a Customer Service Representative , you will provide reassurance and solutions that make a difference in our customers' lives. You will guide policyholders through coverage needs, policy changes, and billing inquiries while listening for needs they may not have voiced and recommending additional coverages and policies that help protect what matters most to them.

Compensation & Incentives

• Starting Salary Range: $49,367 to $59,463 annually ($24.50 to $29.51 per hour), based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
• Differentials: +10% for evening shifts and +20% for weekends.

How You'll Make a Difference

• Customer Interaction: Manage incoming calls, messages, billing questions, and policy updates. Uncover coverage needs and recommend coverages, limits, and policies that fit each customer's situation.
• Problem Resolution: Resolve customer concerns while ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about GEICO's products and services and identify opportunities to help customers make informed coverage decisions that best meet their needs.
• Meaningful Impact: Enhance customer satisfaction through meaningful interactions and trusted guidance that strengthens customer relationships.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum of three years customer-facing experience required.
• Experience working in a high-volume customer service environment with performance metrics, productivity goals, or KPIs preferred.
• No active insurance license is required at hire. Employees must successfully obtain and maintain the required Personal Lines or Property & Casualty license as part of the role. GEICO provides licensing training and covers exam fees.
• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

• Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, and empathy skills, paired with a consultative approach that builds trust, resolves customer concerns, and helps customers make informed decisions.
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and multitask across platforms.

Availability

• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
