JOB SPECIFICS

Join our dynamic and fast-paced team at SFMC Medical Center, a prestigious Level One Trauma Center. As a Psychotherapist, you'll provide critical support to our medical units in the hospital including the Emergency Department by offering assessment, diagnosis, recommendations, and brief therapy to patients experiencing behavioral health issues.

• You will participate in one weekend first shift every three to four weeks to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $32.87- $38.66 hr. This salaried position.\n

Qualifications \n

\n

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

\n

\n
• Education: Masters Degree in counseling or social work
\n
• Licensure/Certifications: Illinois licensure as a LCPC or LCSW
\n
• Other skills or knowledge: Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively provide quality patient care. Required to demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development as well as physical, emotional, and psycho-social needs of the patient population served Proven skills in written/verbal communications, problem solving, independent problem solving, decision making abilities, creativity, prioritization/delegation and necessary computer-related skill

• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: 2 years of experience post masters degree completion 2 years of experience working with the age and diagnoses of the population served Experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting
