Information Security Architect

The Opportunity:The Information Security Architect works in the office to lead the design, implementation, and management of secure network infrastructure and services. In this role, you will play a critical part in defining our network security architecture, policies, and practices to safeguard sensitive data, systems, and applications across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.The Day-to-Day:Design and develop secure network architectures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).Evaluate, implement, and oversee network related security controls for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models across providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.Develop and propose network security related policies, procedures, and standards.Participate in threat modeling, cyber security risk assessments, and network control implementation reviews for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid applications and services.Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, engineering, and IT teams to integrate cyber security defenses into standard practices and consistent implementation, including infrastructure as code.Identify evolving global threats and propose enterprise network posture changes to mitigate cyber security risks.Support incident response and forensic investigations.Stay current with the latest cyber security trends, vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements.Your Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2–3 years focused on network security architecture.Expertise in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP network security services and architecture.Expertise in Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls, Fortinet, Watchguard, Zscaler platforms.Deep understanding of cyber security disciplines (e.g., Identity and Access Management, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management).Experience with security frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Benchmarks, and Zero Trust Architecture.Why Fisher Investments:We work for a bigger purpose: bettering the investment universe.
