How you'll make an impact in this role

• Accurately translate clinical encounters into standardized codes (ICD, CPT, HCPCS) and classifications (APC/DRG).

• Act as a trusted partner to our clinicians by proactively reaching out for clarification when documentation is ambiguous.

• Stay current with evolving regulatory guidelines and reimbursement requirements, always upholding the highest Standards of Ethical Coding as defined by AHIMA to ensure our practices remain transparent and compliant.

• Maintain consistent, high-quality productivity in your work, ensuring that our coding and billing processes remain reliable, efficient, and supportive of the broader organization.

• Conduct regular chart audits to identify opportunities for improvement

What minimum requirements you'll need

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
