Registered Nurse (RN) - Clinic

Registered Nurse – Oncology

Schedule: Tuesday–Friday (may change based on clinic need)

Requirements:

• Active California RN license required
• BLS (AHA or ARC) certification required
• ONS/ONCC certification required
• Minimum 2 years oncology experience (outpatient experience preferred)
• Prior infusion/chemotherapy administration experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of oncology medications and treatment workflows
• Proficient with IV insertion and injections
• Experience with chemotherapy/infusion administration and monitoring (outpatient)
• Skills in port/PICC/central line care and central line blood draws
• Competency in IV start/maintenance, IV push administration, and infusion pump management
• Ability in phlebotomy, recognition/management of chemo side effects and abnormal labs
• Capability in patient and family education/support
