Job Summary:

Provide specialized physical therapy services to patients within a comprehensive acute care and inpatient rehabilitation setting. Ensure high-quality, individualized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and mobility.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients physical health and develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations.
  
  
• 
  Administer therapeutic interventions such as gait training, mobility exercises, and strength conditioning.
  
  
• 
  Perform modified barium swallow studies (MBSS) in radiology as needed for speech therapy components.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety standards, and best practices for acute care and inpatient rehabilitation.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid physical therapy license with at least 1 year of experience in acute care or inpatient rehabilitation settings.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in performing patient assessments and implementing therapy plans in a Level 1 trauma hospital environment.
  
  
• 
  Experience in completing modified barium swallow studies (MBSS) is preferred.
  
  
• 
  Possess strong communication, accountability, and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  
  
• 
  Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including two weekend shifts per month.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit a positive attitude and good sense of humor, with a team-oriented approach.
