Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Pediatrics

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a locally owned outpatient private practice in Fairbanks, Alaska. The SLP will provide evaluation and treatment services primarily to pediatric patients and develop individualized care plans based on patient and family needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, communication, and swallowing evaluations as appropriate.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
• Provide pediatric speech and language therapy services.
• Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and home strategies.
• Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Alaska SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
• Pediatric speech-language therapy experience required.
• Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Adult speech-language therapy experience.
• Experience in an outpatient or private practice setting.
• Experience working with both pediatric and adult populations.
