We strive to be a premier entertainment destination known for excellence in service, culture, and guest experience.Position SummaryStar Lanes Polaris is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Bartender to provide exceptional beverage service in a fast-paced entertainment venue. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere, prepare quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintain a clean and organized bar area, and deliver outstanding guest experiences while supporting the overall success of the venue.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and responsible alcohol service guidelines.Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to all guests.Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all liquor laws and company policies.Process food and beverage orders accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including workstations, glassware, equipment, and storage areas.Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and supplies.Handle cash, credit card transactions, and guest checks accurately.Promote featured beverages, specials, and entertainment offerings to enhance guest satisfaction.Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure efficient operations.Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and company standards.QualificationsMust be at least 21 years of age.Previous bartending experience preferred; entertainment or high-volume venue experience is a plus.Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage service techniques.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Basic math and cash-handling skills.Ability to obtain and maintain required alcohol service certifications.Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Physical RequirementsFrequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds.Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions.Work in a lively environment with moderate to high noise levels.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Preferred SkillsExperience with POS systems.Strong sales and upselling abilities.Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.Benefits:Employee discounts on food and beverages.Opportunities for advancement and professional development.Fun and dynamic entertainment environment.Competitive hourly wage plus tips and gratuity on special events.Star Lanes Polaris is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating an inclusive workplace and delivering exceptional guest experiences.Interested?
