Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. Ensures patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes through comprehensive clinical support.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pre- and post-procedure care to patients undergoing cardiac interventions.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure procedural success.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
• Document patient assessments, procedures, and care plans accurately.
• Provide patient education and support before, during, and after procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid BSN and active registered nurse license.
• Demonstrate experience in cardiac cath lab or electrophysiology settings.
• Possess strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Have current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Be able to work on-call hours, including weekends and overnight shifts.
