Surgical Tech

Seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Tech for a travel assignment in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization laboratory. The ideal candidate will be a flexible and positive team player dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. Assist physicians during procedures such as LHC, RHC, PCI, and peripheral diagnostics and interventions. Operate and maintain specialized equipment including GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab. Provide pre- and post-procedure care to patients. Monitor patient vital signs and condition throughout procedures. Document patient care activities accurately in the EMR. Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage. Schedule / Shift Day Shift: 6:45 AM - 4:15 PM (10-hour shifts) Required Qualifications Minimum of 6 months of current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience. Current BLS certification. ARRT (R) certification. RCIS or RCES certification. Must be willing and able to apply for and register as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA before the start date if holding RCIS or RCES certification. Preferred Qualifications ARRT (CI) or (CV) certification. Experience in holding patients. Experience in patient monitoring. Certifications BLS ARRT (R) RCIS or RCES Experience Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience. Experience with LHC, RHC, PCI, and peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures. Experience with pacemaker and ICD insertion procedures. Experience with cardioversions and TEEs. Experience with tilt table tests and dobutamine stress tests. Skills Proficiency in operating GE Innova Fluoro Systems. Proficiency in operating Mac Lab systems. Strong understanding of cardiac catheterization procedures. Excellent patient assessment and monitoring skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. EMR / Systems Meditech Patient Population Adult cardiac patients requiring diagnostic and interventional procedures. Unit / Specialty Cardiac Cath Lab Floating / On-Call Must take on-call responsibilities with the rest of the team. Must be housed within a 30-minute commute of the Cath Lab. On-call duties are divided evenly with an average of 8-12 days per 4-week schedule, potentially including one weekend. #J-18808-Ljbffr
