Nurse PractitionerTPP Irving - Irving, TX 75039OverviewSalary Range $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 Salary/year Position Type Full Time Job Shift DayDescriptionThe Nurse Practitioner (NP) delivers primary medical care to patients and is responsible for caring for patients, maintaining accurate and current patient records and scheduling and administering follow-up appointments to patients as required. The NP works as a team with nurses and physicians and assists in delivering premium care to each and every patient.Essential FunctionsPerform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinationsUpdate patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointmentAnalyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment optionsDeliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivityServe as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditionQualificationsCompetenciesAbility to work within a team and take directionMust be familiar with the EHR medical charting systemStrong written and interpersonal communication skillsInfection Control CategoryThis job is designated as a Category I job using OSHA definitions. This means there are tasks that involve exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials.
