Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Operating Room Nurse (RN) Iowa This position involves providing comprehensive perioperative care within the operating room environment. The role requires proficiency in robotic-assisted surgery, orthopedics including Total Joints, general surgery, and Spine procedures. The candidate will be responsible for supporting a busy surgical unit with a focus on safety and efficient clinical practices. Job Details Shift Time: Rotating Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week Certifications and Education: Active Iowa or multistate Compact Nurse Licensure; BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; proficiency in EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR); minimum of 24 months current operating room experience, including experience with Mako or Rosa robotic systems, DaVinci Xi, and orthopedic surgeries involving Total Joints; proficient in general and spine surgeries within the previous 12 months; scrub experience desirable. Experience: Minimum 0 years (experience requirement: 0 years) Additional Requirements: Successful candidates must have a valid driver's license and references from within the last 24 months. Responsibilities: Preparing OR suites for surgery, assisting with robotic procedures, maintaining patient safety, and ensuring compliance with clinical standards. Submission Requirements: Clinical interview pre-screening, professional references, current state licensure documentation, and drivers license. Note: Travel experience within the previous 15 months is preferred.
