Accounting Clerk

Our client, an established organization in the logistics and operations space, is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be part of the accounting and vendor/customer invoicing workflow, supporting day-to-day processes that keep transactions accurate and on time. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, reliable follow-through, and clear communication to ensure invoices are matched, researched, organized, and delivered correctly.
Job Title: Accounting Clerk Location: New Castle, PA Pay Range: $20-$25/hour Shift: 20hrs per week flexible What's the Job?- Open daily mail and distribute it as needed to support ongoing accounting and invoice processing.
- Match Accounts Payable invoices to PO's and receivers, then process them in the system accurately.
- Research vendor pricing or quantity discrepancies with vendors and/or the receiving department to resolve issues efficiently.
- Organize and file all open vendor invoices that have been processed and paid to maintain clean, audit-ready records.
- Process daily outbound shipment invoices and send invoices to customers once finalized, then organize and file customer invoices after they are sent.
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to complete a background check.
- Ability to complete a drug screen.
- Strong accuracy and organization skills for invoice matching, filing, and recordkeeping.
- Comfort working with PO/receiving documentation and resolving discrepancies through research and coordination.
- Work a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with 4 hours per day (flexible on time).
- Contribute to essential accounting processes that directly support vendors and customers.
- Build experience in Accounts Payable invoice matching, discrepancy research, and invoicing workflows.
