Skills & Background:

• Current, active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Florida
• Experience supporting students in school settings is a plus
• Strong ability to adapt to varied school environments and student needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Willingness and ability to travel across Hendry County as site assignments will cover multiple locations (assigned over summer)
• Reliable organizational skills for managing itinerant schedules and providing services at multiple schools

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver school-based OT services to K–12 students with diverse needs and goals
• Assess student abilities and create individualized intervention and therapy plans
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement and monitor strategies
• Support students in developing fine motor, sensory-processing, and self-help skills critical to academic success
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation for assessments, interventions, and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting
