If so, we'd love to hear from you!About the RoleWe are looking for someone who is friendly, tech-savvy, organized, great at multi-tasking, and can thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our customers - the ability to make every customer's experience amazing from the moment they walk through the door is everything in this role. The Receptionist is responsible for checking in new and existing patients per state and CRA requirements, creating patient profiles, and generally assisting where needed.Successful candidates will complete mandatory training through JARS University - conducted both virtually and in-person at our mock-store training facility.Job DutiesVerify customers' legal age requirements, register new customers in the POS system, and scan in returning customersCheck customer purchasing allotments through the POS system upon check-inPromote the JARS brand and get customers excited about shopping at our locationWelcome guests and customers into the store with a positive, upbeat, and friendly demeanorUse proper greetings and salutations with all customers at all timesAssist with curbside and online orders when neededAnswer calls with professional and proper phone etiquetteProvide customers with information regarding products, store hours and location, daily specials, website address, and moreEmphasize the JARS Loyalty Program, campaigns, events, daily texts, and other promotionsArrive to each scheduled shift on time and presentably dressedCommunicate with team members for order completion updatesCreate personable and memorable experiences for all store patronsAlways maintain Michigan and CRA compliance in all customer-facing interactionsPerform opening, mid-day, and closing tasks, as well as general upkeep of the reception areaSupport store management in an administrative capacity as requiredAdhere at all times to all applicable laws, regulations, policies, compliance requirements, and protocolsMonitor customer queues at all timesKeep all online and in-store menus current with daily offeringsOther duties as assigned by management.RequirementsMust be 21 years of age or olderHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 1 year of customer service experience in a retail, sales, and/or hospitality environment1 year of previous administrative and/or Front Desk Receptionist experienceMust have strong attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and follow-up skillsExcellent customer service and communication skillsMust be able to work cooperatively as a team memberExceptional hospitality skills required - role involves constant contact with patients and staffWork Atmosphere/Physical DemandsRequires prolonged standing and some bending, stooping, and stretchingRequires occasional stocking, labeling, cleaning, organizingAbility to operate a computer, POS system, and other office equipmentMoving up to 30 pounds on occasionWork will generally be performed in a fast-paced retail cannabis dispensaryInvolves frequent contact with patients and staffWill require working varied hours/day, including nights, weekends, holidays, and/or events on occasionJob Types: Full-time, Part-timeSchedule:10-hour shift8-hour shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayWeekend availability requiredWhy JARS Cannabis?At JARS Cannabis, we pride ourselves on being more than just a retailer - we are a community.
