We are seeking reliable and hard working to support our students in Infant (six weeks) through Grade 12. Overview: Established in 1974, The Montessori School of Raleigh (MSR) & Carolina Preparatory Academy (Carolina Prep) is a vibrant and exceptional independent Montessori and International Baccalaureate (IB) World School school in the Triangle area serving 400+ students aged 15 months through 18 years. Our Montessori programs for Toddler - Upper Elementary students (15 months - grade 6) are located on our beautifully designed Lead Mine Campus, situated on 10 acres in North Raleigh, comprising five buildings in a child-centered, village-like setting surrounded by wetlands and protected forest. MSR and Carolina Prep are accredited by AMS, Cognia, and the IBO. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide health office coverage when nurses are absent. Provide on-site emergency and general care to employees and students (ages 6 weeks to 18 years). Monitor a two-way radio at all times and respond to all transmissions applicable to the health office. Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications to students as needed per policy. Chart care provided/medication administered in Magnus Health system. Communicate illnesses, injuries, care provided, etc. with parents and faculty/staff. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Auxiliary Programs, Chief Financial & Operations Officer and Head of School. All substitute nurses are expected to cooperate in promoting the best interests of the School. Licensing/Certification Requirements Must have active North Carolina Registered Nurse license.
