Job Description
Urology Medical Assistant - Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) or Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R)

Schedule:
- 4x9 hours plus 1x4 hours (Monday to Friday)
- Shift times: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM for four days; 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM for one day (alternate based on MD's OR day)

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Full-time

Requirements:
- Current Washington State MA-C or MA-R license
- BLS Certification
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as an MA-C in an adult/pediatric outpatient clinic setting, ideally in a procedural heavy clinic such as Urology, Otolaryngology, or Dermatology
- Experience with EPIC charting preferred
- Reliable transportation

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Obtain and record vital signs
- Prepare patients for examination by recording history, medications, and allergies
- Assist with procedures including cystoscopy and prostate biopsy
- Set up and maintain a sterile field during procedures
- Collect and label specimens accurately
- Room patients and ensure proper documentation in EMR

Compliance / Notes:
- Scrubs will be provided
- All travel pairs must have their own transportation
- Completed questionnaire required for submission
- References from the last 3 years are required covering relevant experience
- Candidate expected to float to another clinic location as required
