Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients, evaluating the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms to inform treatment strategies. \n
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). \n
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to support optimal outcomes, ensuring that each client's evolving needs are addressed. \n
- Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care techniques to facilitate understanding and support. \n
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients. \n
- Stay informed of the latest research and trends in mood disorder treatment to continue providing the best possible care. \n
- Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards. \n
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, team meetings, and case consultations to enhance clinical practice. \n
- Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, working to reduce stigma and increase access to essential services. \n
This role primarily focuses on individuals affected by mood disorders, including those experiencing depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, including marginalized populations such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. As a therapist, your ability to connect with and empower these individuals will be crucial in helping them navigate their challenges and improve their mental health.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). \n
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. \n

- An empathetic and non-judgmental approach to understanding clients’ experiences and challenges. \n
