RN UM At Genesis Pembroke CenterShift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Meal: 30 Role: RN UM Facility: Genesis Pembroke Center Contract Weeks: 9 Guaranteed: 40 (5 x 8 / week) Days: Rotating on-call schedule - no set days Pay Rate: Local - $60/hr. on W2Role HighlightsSupport the Director of Nursing with the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomesLead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient care for assigned nursing unitEnsure that patient care delivery is consistent and in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirementsCollaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on assigned nursing unitManage the human resources in assigned unit to include limiting use of overtime and agency personnel, recruiting and orientating staff, assessing the work performance of nursing staff, and implementing disciplinary action when necessaryQualificationsA graduate of an accredited school of nursingCurrent RN licensure by the State Board of Examiners of NursesBSN + 2 years nursing experience; or Associate Degree + 3 years nursing experience requiredProven leadership experience for a minimum of one year (i.e. head nurse, supervisor, etc.)At least one year of experience in a skilled nursing environment preferred
