Job Description

The Distribution Associate supports daily warehouse operations by accurately processing, packing, and shipping customer orders on a fast-paced 1st shift. This role ensures products meet customer specifications, inventory remains organized, and outgoing shipments are completed efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit customer orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Process and audit company products so they are prepared to meet specific customer needs.

• Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment.

• Ship orders to designated customer locations using established procedures.

• Inspect products to confirm they meet customer specifications and quality standards.

• Sort and count parts to maintain accurate inventory records.

• Collect cardboard and other packing materials and place them into the compactor.

• Support picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory activities as needed.

• Apply labels accurately to products, parts, or packages according to requirements.

Essential Skills

• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment.

• Experience with order picking.

• Experience with packing products for shipment.

• Hands-on experience in shipping processes.

• Experience with receiving incoming goods.

• Inventory handling and stock counting experience.

• Ability to label products and packages accurately.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-based setting.

• Strong attention to detail when processing, auditing, and inspecting orders.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milan, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
