Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.Perform complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety proceduresPosition patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessaryAssist radiologist with interventional CT imaging procedures, starting IV`s, and injecting contrast, if applicableMaintains equipment and supplies in accordance with established policies and proceduresActs professionally in all dealings with internal and external customers to promote a working environment that focuses on the patient experience and not operational rivalries or roadblocks to careRequired:Must have completed an accredited Radiology ProgramOne (1) year of experience in RadiologyRegistered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (R))Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (CT)) within nine (9) months of hireMedical Radiographer (MRAD:TX)BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA) with 14 days of hirePreferred:Associates Degree in Allied Health or RadiologyWhere You'll WorkSt. Joseph Health – Bryan/College Station, Navasota, Caldwell, Madisonville, TX.
